CHRISTIAN MINISTRY TO ISRAEL
an authentic MESSIANIC MINISTRY TO ISRAEL (since 1944)

WHAT IS MESSIANIC?

Messianic is the Hebrew equivalent to the English word Christian which comes from the Greek, Christos. When the seventy Jewish scholars translated the Hebrew Scriptures or the TeNaK into the Greek compiling what is called the Septuagint (LXX) it was the Jewish scholars who chose and used the word Christ as the translation of the Hebrew word, Mashiach (Messiah). The word Messianic literally means Christian. Christian Ministry to Israel is an authentic messianic ministry to Israel!

What is the Relationship of the NT Believer with the OT Law/Torah?

1. Yirmeyahu spoke to Ysrael and Yehudah that YHWH was going to make a NEW covenant -NOT LIKE the covenant YHWH made with their fathers in the day YHWH took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, YHWH’s covenant which they – Ysrael and Yehudah- broke, although YHWH was a husband to them. This new covenant is contrasted with the Sinai or Mosaic covenant (Jeremiah 31:30).

4. Yeshua was YHWH Who came to fulfill the new covenant with Ysrael. This is the reason He spoke to His talmudim or disciples, “go not to the Gentiles.

5. YHWHshua was born under Law, meaning under the time, jurisdiction, and authority of the Mosaic Law. Of course He obeyed all of it!

7. YHWHshua said that not one yod or hook would pass away from the Law until all would be accomplished (Matthew 5:18). His goal in coming was to accomplish the Law.

8. YHWHshua’s New Covenant did not begin until after His life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, the day of Pentecost, Acts 2.

10. YHWH’s new covenant written in epistles was co-authored with YHWHshua by Ysrael (Shaul/Paul, Yacov /James; Kefa/Peter, Yudah/Jude; Yochanon).

11. YHWH’s new covenant is the Gospel; it is first for Ysrael (Romans 1:16), the circumcision of the heart, a nexus to Jeremiah 31 (Romans 2:25-29). Real Jewishness is only warranted according to this inward circumcision (Romans 2:29); Shaul/Paul is not talking about Gentiles becoming Jews, but ethnic Jews becoming authentically Jewish!

12. YHWH’s new covenant first to Ysrael if denied would warrant wrath first to Ysrael (Romans 2:9,10 ).

14. YHWH’s older covenant has jurisdiction over a person as long as he or she lives (Romans 7:1); only death can sever that covenant; only the dead can participate in YHWH’s New Covenant which then has jurisdiction. The believer in YHWHshua died (Romans 6:3,4), and the marriage or binding to the Law and its jurisdiction as a husband is terminated! Praise God, for now the believer is alive to YHWHshua and is bound to Him our new husband (Romans 7:4).

17. YHWH’s new covenant has no condemnation (Romans 8:1); a believer may commit fornication (God forbid), adultery (God forbid), may lie (God forbid), steal (God forbid), cheat (God forbid), even kill (God forbid), yet is not a fornicator, adulterer, liar, thief, cheat, nor murderer. He or she is married to the Law of Spirit and life and is dead to the law which condemns one as a theif or murderor or etc.

20. YHWH is the High Priest not of Levi but a Judahite and the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 5:1-10; 6:20) a higher order than Levi.

21. YHWH’s new covenant has a changed priesthood, no longer Levites, but all believers.

we are dead to the Law by the body of Christ

2. In context Yirmeyahu describes the new covenant to come: YHWH will make it, with the House of Ysrael, after those days, YHWH will put His law within, writing it on their heart, and YHWH will be their God, Ysrael to be His people.

3. In context the new covenant coming to Ysrael is as sure to Ysrael as the fixed order of the earth’s rotation on its axis, giving day and night, the order of the moon’s orbit around the earth, the order of the rising and falling tide, and the immeasurable breath of space. The order of creation guarantees Ysrael’s seed to continue, Ysrael to be a nation, and Ysrael to be forever (Jeremiah 31:35-37).

6. YHWHshua said He came not to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill, meaning His coming was not in opposition to the Law, but to fulfill the Law; there was a point, a goal, an end to His coming – to fulfill the Law. He was not implying the Law could not be settled once and for all so as to initiate a new covenant (Matthew 5:17).

9. YHWHshua’s new covenant that began on Pentecost, was for Ysrael. It was Ysrael who were in Yerushalayim for Shavuot -from every nation on the earth. It was Ysrael in the Upper Room; Ysraelis were filled with the Holy Spirit; Ysraelis from Galilee spoke in foreign tongues; Ysrael heard the speaking of foreign tongues; Ysrael was the audience of Kefa/Peter’s sermon; Ysrael was guilty for the crucifixion of Yeshua; Ysrael was pierced to the heart; Ysreael believed and were baptized, the number around three thousand (Acts 2); Ysrael were continually devoting themselves to the apostles teaching, breaking bread, fellowship, and prayer. It was also Ysrael who came by thousands (literally) to believe in Yeshua (Acts 2:36,41, 46, 47; 4:4; 5:42; 6:7; 8:2,4,5; 9; 12:24,25; 13:30,31, 43; 14:1; 17:1-4, 10-12; 19:10; 21:20; 24:5; 28:21-24, 29).

13. YHWH’s new covenant is inward making goyim or Gentiles children of Avraham, no longer Gentiles but a “new man”(Romans 4:10-18).

15. YHWH’s grace abounds; the Law came that sin/ transgression might increase and as a tutor to lead one in absolute misery to the savior, YHWHshua.

16. YHWHshua has released the believer from the Law by His fulfilling it and our dying to it(Romans 7:6).

18. YHWH justifies, so who can bring a charge against God’s elect (Romans 8:33)? Who can condemn for YHWH lives and intercedes for us (Romans 8:34)?

19. YHWH is the High Priest in the new covenant (Hebrews 2:17; 4:14,15) though a son of Judah (7:14) and not a son of Levi. How can this be?

22. YHWH’s new covenant sets aside the former Mosaic or older covenant which was weak and useless for making perfection (Hebrews 7:18).

All God’s people said?   AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!

that we should be married to another, Him Who is raised from the dead (Romans 7:4)
