1. Yirmeyahu spoke to Ysrael and Yehudah that YHWH was going to make a NEW covenant -NOT LIKE the covenant YHWH made with their fathers in the day YHWH took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, YHWH’s covenant which they – Ysrael and Yehudah- broke, although YHWH was a husband to them. This new covenant is contrasted with the Sinai or Mosaic covenant (Jeremiah 31:30).
4. Yeshua was YHWH Who came to fulfill the new covenant with Ysrael. This is the reason He spoke to His talmudim or disciples, “go not to the Gentiles.”
5. YHWHshua was born under Law, meaning under the time, jurisdiction, and authority of the Mosaic Law. Of course He obeyed all of it!
7. YHWHshua said that not one yod or hook would pass away from the Law until all would be accomplished (Matthew 5:18). His goal in coming was to accomplish the Law.
8. YHWHshua’s New Covenant did not begin until after His life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, the day of Pentecost, Acts 2.
10. YHWH’s new covenant written in epistles was co-authored with YHWHshua by Ysrael (Shaul/Paul, Yacov /James; Kefa/Peter, Yudah/Jude; Yochanon).
11. YHWH’s new covenant is the Gospel; it is first for Ysrael (Romans 1:16), the circumcision of the heart, a nexus to Jeremiah 31 (Romans 2:25-29). Real Jewishness is only warranted according to this inward circumcision (Romans 2:29); Shaul/Paul is not talking about Gentiles becoming Jews, but ethnic Jews becoming authentically Jewish!
12. YHWH’s new covenant first to Ysrael if denied would warrant wrath first to Ysrael (Romans 2:9,10 ).
14. YHWH’s older covenant has jurisdiction over a person as long as he or she lives (Romans 7:1); only death can sever that covenant; only the dead can participate in YHWH’s New Covenant which then has jurisdiction. The believer in YHWHshua died (Romans 6:3,4), and the marriage or binding to the Law and its jurisdiction as a husband is terminated! Praise God, for now the believer is alive to YHWHshua and is bound to Him our new husband (Romans 7:4).
17. YHWH’s new covenant has no condemnation (Romans 8:1); a believer may commit fornication (God forbid), adultery (God forbid), may lie (God forbid), steal (God forbid), cheat (God forbid), even kill (God forbid), yet is not a fornicator, adulterer, liar, thief, cheat, nor murderer. He or she is married to the Law of Spirit and life and is dead to the law which condemns one as a theif or murderor or etc.
20. YHWH is the High Priest not of Levi but a Judahite and the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 5:1-10; 6:20) a higher order than Levi.
21. YHWH’s new covenant has a changed priesthood, no longer Levites, but all believers.
we are dead to the Law by the body of Christ
